It’s a Finish – SAHRR 2024

by | Mar 18, 2024 | 16 comments

Now that we’ve added all our rounds, and hopefully gotten our flimsies quilted, it’s time for a PARADE!! And not just any parade, it’s the Stay at Home Round Robin Parade! Today’s parade is hosted by Gail of Quilting Gail.

I’ve had so much fun with this SAHRR quilt. It has been great to see how everyone interpreted the prompts provided by the co-hosts. In case you missed one, and still want to make a quilt, here is a list of the prompts for each round!

January 15: Gail hosted the first linky party … showing your center blocks … but you’ll have to visit each of the SAHRR co-host bloggers to see their blocks. ✔
January 22: 1st Round:   Wendy @ Pieceful Thoughts of My Quilting Life
January 29: 2nd Round:   Anja @ Anja Quilts
February 5: 3rd Round:  Emily @ The Darling Dogwood
February 12: 4th Round:  Brenda @ Songbird Designs THAT’s ME!! ✔
February 19: 5th Round: Gail @ Quilting Gail
February 26: 6th Round:  Kathleen @ Kathleen McMusing
March 18: Parade: showing all of your finished SAHRRs! ✔ That’s TODAY!!

Now without further ado, here is my completed SAHRR 2024. I’m not a great free motion quilter, but more practice helps that! I had a lot of fun playing with free motion and ruler work in quilting this. Click the photo for a complete view!

We reached out to several companies that we all LOVE and many of them agreed to sponsor the SAHRR 2024!!! We have kept track of all of the participants that linked to our Linky Parties each week. We have made a list and will use a random number generator to choose the winners for each prize! So, if you linked up to 3 Linky Parties, you will have 3 opportunities to win!

I’m so grateful to have been able to participate with the other co-hosts in making this year’s SAHRR. Thank you ladies!! I’m linking up with Gail at Quilting Gail, for the fantastic Parade! See you there!! Until next time…

I think I did a little squeal when I saw the words, and then that quilting – swoon! Wonderful quilt and thank you for hosting.

I really love this quilt, Brenda. Fabulous job on the free motion quilting; like you I prefer for the machine to do the work, but it is always good to go back to our roots.
