I would like to thank my coffee for allowing me to get through this Monday.

Happy Monday morning everyone!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! I hope you had a great week. Here in the south the weather has been great – not too hot or too cool. Though we don’t get a lot of snow, the older I get the more I want to become a “snowbird” when it’s cold and move to Florida! On to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 10/21 – 10/27/24:
- Continue working on November blog hop project. DONE!! My shoulders and neck are sore from wrestling that quilt stitching down all the Dresdens! Here is a peek at another one.

- Sewing with Friends on Wednesday to make the folded star pot holders. DONE!! Three of us worked on pot holders. They are almost finished, just need to stitch down the prairie points and/or trim and bind!
- Whatever suits my fancy! Sunday afternoon we watched our middle (by one minute!) grandson play a tennis match. He loves it! Afterward we all went out to eat. It was a good day. Saturday afternoon we watched college football (Roll Tide!!) and then I made a pot of Crack Chicken Gnocchi Soup! It was delicious if I do say so myself! If you are interested you can find the recipe here on Plain Chicken’s website!
My plans for the week of 10/28 – 11/3/24:
- Finish my Dresden quilt for next month’s blog hop!
- Sewing day on Tuesday this week.
- Work on second ByAnnie’s bag.
- Stitch down, trim and bind the pot holder.
- Whatever suits my fancy!
Here is some quilty inspiration shared last week!

You had a fun week sewing with friends. And looks like you have a good list for this week also. What program do you use to do your collage of last weeks links?
Brenda that Dresden Plate is beautiful! I can remember making those folded potholders in the 1980’s!!! Everything comes back with updated ways to do it eventually. I still have the booklet for those potholders!
