Welcome to the final day of the Turkey Trot Blog Hop hosted by our friend Joan from Moosestash Quilting! Joan gave us this mission: Think Turkeys, thankfulness, or Thanksgiving fabric. November also means beautiful colors of fall, so sew something with orange, golds, browns, greens or cranberry reds. This was an easy mission for me since I love the colors of fall!
I also love pumpkins which fit right in with this theme and for my project, I chose to get out the fall fabric and embroidery machine and have fun! I need a new pot holder/trivet for my Thanksgiving table, so I chose a design from Designs by JuJu (no affiliation) that I just love and some glorious Island Batik fabrics from my stash, and here is what I made!

Here is a quilt I made a few years back using my Jacobean Pumpkins that I digitized a few years ago. I love this one. This was the flimsy, but it is actually quilted. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a photo of it hanging in the quilt show! What was I thinking???!!!

And a final favorite of mine is my turkey table runner! This is a pattern in my shop that includes the ITH appliqued turkey and instructions for completing the table runner in two styles.

Thanks for stopping by my place for the final day of the Turkey Trot Blog Hop. I hope you will visit all the bloggers who have participated and leave them a sweet comment. You can find the entire schedule on this post. And here is today’s schedule.
