Channeling my inner coffee bean: Be strong and full of flavor ☕️💪

Happy Monday morning!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! Are you finished with your Christmas stitching?!! I am ALMOST finished! I have just a couple more things to stitch!! I am really enjoying our weather this week. It will be in the 60s and 70s for a while. So glad as that is my kind of winter! LOL If it’s cold where you are…y’all stay warm and toasty and keep on stitching! Now let’s move on to the good stuff!!
Here’s how my story ended for the week of 12/15 – 12/21/25:
- Finish stitching Secret Quilt #2 into a flimsy! DONE!! Borders added and ready to quilt! YAY!! I got Secret Quilt #3 cut out and ready to stitch.
- Work on some ornaments for my sewing sisters. DONE!! They loved them!! Aren’t they adorable?! I loved being able to fill them with some mini things! This is not my design it is from Designs by JuJu, if you are interested in them. There is a great video that shows exactly how they are made. I stitched these on Kraft-Tex but you can use felt or embroidery vinyl – anything that doesn’t ravel.

- Wednesday Christmas lunch with my sewing sisters. DONE!! We had a great time and some good food at the restaurant!
- Pick up new hoop that is not back ordered. DONE!! I got a maxi hoop for Big Mama Nina. Now I’m just waiting for the new magnetic hoop to come in…probably in January. Apparently they are very popular!
- Post Island Batik project. DONE!! My final Island Batik project was posted on Wednesday. Check it out HERE. I had so much fun making this basket. I will probably make more in the future.
- Whatever cranks my tractor! DONE!! We are stocked with groceries for Christmas lunch/dinner. Presents are wrapped, except for one of D’s stocking stuffers which is to arrive before Christmas (I hope!!). A little cleaning was done.
Plans for the week of 12/22 – 12/28/25:
- Begin piecing Secret Quilt #3.
- Christmas – cooking and fun!!
- Whatever suits my fancy. As was last week, this will be a busy week, so I’m keeping the list short!
Here is some quilty inspiration shared last week!
I apologize for not making it to all the blogs last week. As I said above, it’s been a crazy busy week with get togethers, quilt deadlines, and Christmas preps. Here are all the entries from last week, if you would like to visit the posts! This week will probably be the same!
Now it’s your turn to link up projects you’re working on!

Guess what’s coming soon?? SAHRR 2026!! I will post more about it later in the week. Start thinking about your center block so you will be ready in January. We’re going to have another fun year!
