Happy Monday morning!!! Welcome to Monday Musings! I hope you have all had a wonderful week. I’ve had a good week but still lots of rain here. It does not make for comfortable joints in my case, but we just take it as it comes! Now, let’s move on to the good stuff!!

Here’s how my story ended for the week of 6/2- 6/8/25:
- Sewing Day with friends, maybe? Hopefully most of us will be able to make it this week. DONE!! Not everyone made it but we enjoyed our therapy session at sew day! LOL
- Put final borders on one secret sewing project. DONE!! I’ll show you this fall!
- Make backing for two quilts. DONE!! Plus got binding made for both quilts at Sew Day.
- Maybe get one of them on the frame?? NOPE!! But I was having fun doing other stuff!
- Whatever suits my fancy. DONE!! We took a day trip on Friday and had a lot of fun and ate at a great seafood restaurant. They gave us so much food we brought home leftovers and had it for two meals! I had some wonderful fried green tomatoes and their hush puppies were awesome with the shrimp and grits. They put goat cheese on it and there was a LOT. That was our first time to try it. I liked it but it was really pungent and a little went a long way!
Plans for the week of 6/9 – 6/15/25:
- Work on some test designs for Denise.
- Try to get one quilt on the frame.
- Possible guild meeting today, depending on the storms we are expecting and how achy my joints are.
- Maybe another Sew Day on Wednesday. We are expecting rain and storms most of the week, so we shall see.
- Whatever cranks my tractor!

Wow you did good on your list, I only see one “NOPE”! I love a restaurant with good seafood and hush puppies. We used to go to one in Oklahoma back in the 1980s that was called Hushpuppy! The shrimp and grits sounds wonderful.
The shrimp and grits were really good even as leftovers!! Have a great week!
